I have the right credentials and tested the connection. For some reason the "mail send" says it requires a incoming connection. Does the arrow facing the element show that there is a incoming element?

Check the properties of the connection between the folder and the Mail send.
It could be that you have it set up in such a way that no file will go to the Mail send and hence you get the error.

Been there and done that...
