Hi there,
We are looking to buy a new config in order to replace our old Switch Station Wich actually run under I5-7500 4 core 32 Go ram, and a SSD for core component, and it's clearly too slow for our purpose.
I built this config with PC partPicker : AMD Ryzen 9 16 core, 64 GoRam, and SSD NVME
https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/list/bkNQ27
But i'm a bit reluctant with AMD since a bad experience with an AMD proc nearly 6 year ago (before the Ryzen).
Does anyone have experience on recent AMD, or pro/tips for this?

Re: Configuration for assembling PC part
Definitely nothing wrong with AMD CPU, definitely getting better bang for buck than intel.

Why not running it in the cloud on a windows server? Allways online, secure environment and no investments to upgrade the hardware. We are running for more then a year in the cloud now. I don't want any server in-house anymore.
Working with: Enfocus Switch, Pitstop Server, Quite Imposing, Kodak Nexpress (max 640mm sheets and 500grs) with most options (HD, Clear, Gold, White, Light-Black and Matt fuser), Polar Mohr D80 (compucut), Multigraf, Heidelberg, GMP, Duplo, Hohner.
