We have a group that includes some non-tech savvy users submitting thumbnails at a Submit Job point (log-in, drag/drop may be about their limits). I would like to limit some of the options they can access, specifically the Messages. Our team thinks this page will just overwhelm them and lead to unnecessary confusion. We want the Check Jobs page, as they can check that the job was actually submitted (though I personally think if the Message board is too much for them, I feel the same regarding the Check Jobs - but that is another story).

Has anyone limited access or hidden the Messages option completely?

You can do it in other ways.

Best way is to use a webform that send the job to a Switch Webhook. That way your group can't see anything else.
