Switch adds random symbols to end of filename

Post by PdFUser5000 » Thu Nov 12, 2020 1:42 pm

I have a flow, where a script creates PDF-s from an Illustrator file. PDF-s are created into an external folder, because i'm using the Adobe PDF printer Starting from today, some PDFs have weird symbols added to the end of it's filename.

From the console i can see that files have the correct name, but in the folder they appear to have a weird suffix.
I found this warning in between some warnings that i am ignoring on purpose.

IJT could not be opened: '013BU.ijt'

This error only appears on the files that have and extra suffix added to the filename, which is not used anywhere in switch, but sometimes is added to filename by the user. When this suffix is not used, the files come out ok

Restarting the server user removes this problem, but is there a reason why this is appearing?

I am also trying to debug a script in that Switch instance. Could this be the reason? Possible memory leak from windows?
