Hi
One of the new feautures of InDesign CC 2019 is the ability to use OpenType-SVG colour fonts like this one: https://www.typewithpride.com
I have made a pdf and preflighted it. And gets no errors. The file is here: https://d.pr/f/EAv5UO
And the file has been ripped by a printer correctly.
Does anybody know of any situation, where we need to be aware of this new font format?

Re: OpenType-SVG colour fonts
The PDF format doesn't support opentype svg. Therefore indesign transforms the font to a postscript font when converting to PDF.
Postscript fonts have been around for a long time, so good PDF applications should be able to handle them.
