TrimBox is missing!!

Post by Bashar_holm »

Hey,

for a while i have been facing a problem defining the trim box in the PDF using inspector even though I have the trim marks in place, is the any way to place them according to the XML the is coming along with the PDF? and I wounder why set by detection action in inspector is not working as it should!!
is it had to do with how the PDF is generated pare in mind the I receive the files via web.

Have a good one
and thanks in advance :)

You'd need to contact support so they can look at the file.
Typically hand drawn crop marks present and issue and there are some other cases where they are not found.

Regarding the XML, it depends what's in it, but that would only work with PitStop Server.
You can take the values for the Trim Box Width and Height from the XML, and also an X/Y offset if it exists.
If you only have width and height then you could base it on the centre of the media box.
9 times out of 10 I guess that would work.
You can send me the file if you want. I'd be interested. Andrewb@enfocus.com
