Changing specific spot colours to CMYK and leaving some spot colours

Post by McCorq »

Hi

We have upgraded from Pitstop 7.1 to Pitstop Pro 2017 and are having a few issues changing over - can anyone help ?

Our current version of Pit Stop allows us to convert all spot colours to CMYK but preserve the Pantone Black C - PRESERVE

We don’t however seem to have that option on our new version of Pit Stop Pro 2017.

Screenshots of both versions below.

If anyone can point us in the right direction we would appreciate it.

Thank you

I am sorry but this does not look like Pitstop to me.
It looks like regular "Convert Color" tools in Acrobat which has nothing to do with Pitstop and your upgrade??

Most likely you upgraded Acrobat and you are seeing upgraded interface.

This can be done with a fairly simple Action list.

Select Spot Color (set to Select spot color by name and then select the color you want to preserve)
NOT
Remap Spot Color (set to All spot colors, Remap to its CMYK equivalent, Apply to Fill color and Stroke color)
Enfocus Switch, Enfocus PitStop Server, Enfocus PDF Review, HP SmartStream& Kodak Prinergy with RBA
Offset 72x102, Offset Large Format, Digital Large Format and Digital print.
