Dear forum,
we have a strange behaviour at two of our macs running Enfocus Pitstop Pro.
While using this tool to convert a picture from srgb for example to PSOuncoated on one mac everything is right - on a second computer the final result is different/wrong. We use the same Pitstop-Version and the same profiles und settings (relatively colorimetric). Are there any preferences to change regarding to this tool. We checked nearly every button in the whole preferences-jungle in Acrobat and PitStop and found nothing ...
Any hint would be great.
Thanx in advance
Andreas

Re: Convert color - strange behaviour
How are you checking the actual results? Which way/with what tool?
Re: Convert color - strange behaviour
You can see this directly on screen.
The Picture on the upper left side is the original. The one on the upper right was converted on one computer with the exact same settings ... the lower left was converted on another mac ...
We've got four macs here ... two produce the right and the other two the wrong result.
... an we've got no clue ...

Re: Convert color - strange behaviour
Hi Andreas
Odd one indeed.
A few things to try if you haven't already.
Check your PitStop Pro Preferences and the Colour Management Settings are the same.
I prefer Little CMS as the CMM engine.
Check the display numbers of sample points in the image to see if they are the same or not.
Could be false profiles assigned.
Try making an action to do the conversion and set the Colour Management settings in the action to override the
Preferences.

Re: Convert color - strange behaviour
You only need to worry about the PitStop Color Management preferences.
I took your original posted image and did a test using the profile configuration you had (see attached).
The darker one has color management turned off in the PitStop preferences.
