Next additions to the BoardingPass pre-release

Post by abailescollins »

Hi all

Thanks for all the feedback on BoardingPass, please keep it coming as it is really useful to understand how we can improve the product.

An update of what you can expect in the next update, we are currently working on two main things.
- Support for Mac Mail as well as Outlook
- To be able to show errors in the pdf so you know which elements have issues.

We are also improving the bleed check, as at the moment it generates errors if the Trim or Bleed Box is missing.
We're going to change the messaging there as that means the check will not work.
A lot of people also want to set the bleed value, so that's also being investigated.

We've also had a lot of requests for additional functionality. We're assessing those, so please keep them coming.
The more requests we get for a particular function, the higher priority it will get.

You can post any feedback on here, or email boardingpass.prerelease@enfocus.com

Hello

I think maybe they could incorporate an ink dropper.

And another thing, how it behaves visually in case of overprints.

Thank you , for development

Hi Xavi

Showing the ink values with an eyedropper or mouse over is a good idea.

Overprint should be fully supported, so if you see anything wrong, then it's a bug.
Can you let us know if you find anything like that please.

hi all,

if you think boarding pass in larger environments it should be possible to deploy the presets or at least be able to import them.

Cool product btw and a perfect complement in the product line. And please keep it as simple as possible!

Thanks Karsten
As there are only two options at the moment we didn't bother with import/export
but as more options are added it definitely becomes more important
