Show log messages doesn't work in Designer when using https?

Hi, when I click the messages button in Switch Designer I get directed to https://localhost:51089.. instead of https://switch.domain:51089..

Since our HTTPS cert is a wildcard for *.domain and not localhost the webpage can not be reached from the internal browser in Switch Designer. A work-a-round is to copy the URL and paste it into a browser and allow the unsecure connection, but it's a bit annoying in the long run. Does anyone have a suggestion how to resolve this issue?
