Flow for compose the delivery path from file name

Post by SergioFernandez »

Dear support,

I am working with Switch and I would like to create a flow that performs the following steps:
  • Create a delivery path using segments of the file name
    Deliver to this new path
Please, I would much appreciate suggestion about how to create. I already try unsuccessful some methods. Thank you very much!

Hi Sergio,

This is not a support page, it’s a user forum :)

If you give a more precise description of what you are trying to do it’s easier to help, could you give us more detailed information?

But a hint could be to use ’Set heirarchy path’ and ’Archive heirarchy’ with varibles from job.nameproper

Indeed, you can open a case with support here: http://www.enfocus.com/supportportal

But with Magnus' answer, I don't think it will be necessary.

I will add this useful app to consider: StringSplitter

Thank you for your reply. It is very useful. It seems that the StringSplitter app is only available if there is an active maintenance contract. In our case we have an annual subscription. I was not able to download it.

Related with the "Arquive hierarchy" feature, I didn't find the way to use the path created in the "Set hierarchy path" feature. Any sugestion?

Thank you for your fine support.
