Group Manager, v24.03 - No connection to the license server(MAC)

Post by Frank0 »

Hello Community,

we have a problem with the connection to the Group Manager, v24.03 - no connection to the license server (floating license).

The Group Manager recognizes the activity of the user (logon/logoff), shows this correctly with the date, time and version. The licenses are also activated in the GM (green dot indicates this). The IP and the port are correctly entered on the MAC in Acrobat DC (or also standard port), ping with the computer is also there. But in Acrobat Enfocus gives the license message that a connection to the license server cannot be established, check the network configuration(?). Of course we did that - everything is open.

Are there any known problems? Where else could you perhaps look?
Software: Acrobat DC v2023.008.20458(MAC), PitStop Pro 24.03(MAC), Workgroup Manager 24.03(WIN11)
(the PitStop Pro version 2022 was previously installed on MAC client and on WIN for GM)

Thanks for your input.

We are running a similar setup but are using Pitstop Workgroup Manager 23, with the Pitstop 24 licenses added. No issues. Maybe there is a change of the communication with Workgroup Manager 24 or your firewall are not letting all necessary traffic through. I would create a support ticket for this https://enfocus.my.site.com/customers/s/cases

Hello Community,

Solution found - we ran the installer for the app (Acrobat DC) twice and it worked immediately - license was recognized.

(sorry that this ended up in this forum, where it is actually not the topic, sorry)
