Hello all,
I'm trying to place some text on a pdf that runs vertical. I don't see anything in the Add Object settings that will let me do that. Am I missing something? Seems like a simple thing but I can't find the control.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Place rotated text
After placing the text, you can use the action "Select last added object".
Then use "Rotate object".
Then use "Rotate object".

Re: Place rotated text
Sometimes rotating an object with good positioning could be painful, so alternatively, you could rotate your page, position your text, then rotate-back your page.
Do you like the Enfocus Apps developed by Bluewest?

That is a great idea.tdeschampsBluewest wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 9:08 am Sometimes rotating an object with good positioning could be painful, so alternatively, you could rotate your page, position your text, then rotate-back your page.
I have sometimes used Art Boxes as targets for different placement of graphics.
So in this case an Art Box could be set to where the text should be used.
Add text.
Rotate text.
Align text to Art Box.
Remove Art Box.
Re: Place rotated text
Thanks to both of you. I thought there was a Select Last Object but couldn't locate it. Got it now and working well for what I need. Thanks Jimmy! Also thanks to Bluewest. That sounds like a great idea for more complicated projects.
Appreciate you both!
