clipped artowrk/images how to (de)select them

Post by Liesbeth »

Hi,

I created an action list to 'remove all other separations', by selecting all process colors, selecting all pantone colors and some custom colors by their names. Removing those other colors works fine, but when processing the action list, all clipping paths are being removed as well, which results in a messed up artwork.

Does anyone know how to to (un)select those clipping paths?

Best Regards,
Liesbeth

Hi Liesbeth,

You could simply remap separations to the spot "None" so that you don't have to remove anything.

What is your intention exactly? We have added "Add pages with extracted content" a few versions ago. There you can first select the spot/color you want, and use the mentioned Action to put that content on a separate page.

That said, this won't take knockout into consideration. For a real separation, you can use the "Add separation pages to document" which creates the separation you want.
