Creating colour management in PitStop

Hello all,

I think we can all agree that sometimes pitstop can be...overly complicated. I am looking for some guidance on how to create a colour management action. magnussandstrom has very kindly provided some insight on the details of such a flow, but I do not know how exactly to implement them. We don't want to do anything crazy, just achieve consistency for our colour and PDF versions. Here is a link to the post mentioned: viewtopic.php?p=19643#p19643

If anyone can provide insight on how exactly to implement such a system it would be greatly appreciated.

You mean PitStop is complex in setting Colour Management or Colour Management is complex? I mean it's a topic of its own and it's easy to get things wrong. Just look at how many books have been written on this subject and why Color Management Certification Programs exist.

I believe that in the post you shared that people tried to provide your some enlightenment about color management. Getting consistent color reproduction in your production depends on so many factors.

Ultimately, you may want to consider calling services from a color expert that can help you configuring your devices and tools for that purpose.
