PitStop 13 Pro update 2

Post by vladimir »

Hello!
I bought the license PitStop 13 Pro update 2, easily installed and activated. When I run Adobe Acrobat X Pro occurs 2 errors - Failed to load <file path>Pitstop Pro.api and StatusCheck.api.
What I did:
1) Gave the permissions to the folder Adobe in Program Files(x86) and Enfocus in ProgramData.
2) I performed a "clean" installation on instruction from official website.
3) Remove third-party installed plug-ins in Acrobat.
Perhabs somebody already faced with a similar problem?
Thank you in advance.

Best to contact Enfocus support. They will be able to help. support@enfocuscom

Acrobat X is supported by PitStop 13 update 2, but you don't mention the operating system you are using?

I'm sorry, I forgot to specify in the topic, I use Windows 7 x64.
P.S. These errors can occur because of a conflict between plug-ins PitStop 13 Pro and Prinect PDF Toolbox 12?

Thanks, please contact the support team, they should verify this and see if there is anything we can do to help.
I'm not aware of any current conflicts with other plugins, so we should take a look.

I have experienced major conflicts between Pitstop Pro 13 and Prinect PDF ToolBox in Acrobat DC. Not sure if there is a problem in Acrobat X as well.

Any specific reason not to tryk PDF ToolBox 16, which is a free download from Heidelberg as far as I understand.https://www.heidelberg.com/global/en/pr ... nloads.jsp

What kind of conflicts you have with Prinect Toolbox and Pitstop?
I have been running those two in different versions over many years and never had conflict between them??
Perhaps I am so used to the problem that I don't see it that way :)

As I mentioned before, we've not seen any cases of this reported to our support team, so I would be very interested to find out more.
Please contact them so we can investigate this problem further.
We have very good contacts with Heidelberg, so if there is an issue we should be able to get to the bottom of it.

Thank you all for your participation and help in solving my problem. Fortunately, at this point the need to install Pitstop 13 on PC with PDF Toolbox disappeared.
With best regards, Vladimir.
