Hi
Has anybody found a way to attach/email multiple files in one email without it being a zip-file?

Hi Tim
No, I have not found a solution for attaching multiple files yet.

I think you'd need someone to make a new version of mail send app or script that would take a folder as input. But another fun solution (depending on what you're trying to do) would be to not attach them at all and instead, build multiple links to those individual files that Switch has uploaded to S3. That has the advantage of not bogging down people's inboxes with large attachments.

I have the same problem, wouldn't be a problem sending various files for us, since it's for internal communication.
Re: Attach multiple files, but not as zip-file
There are better ways today to solve things like this.
One such service is Smash and we have an app for that.
You send a bunch of files as one job to Smash and the app will generate a link for download that you send in a mail.
Works perfectly for large files as well, better and safer than FTP.

Smash and we transfer would be great if you're communicating with clients, but I don't see it as a great option for sending internal communication, where the key would be having a fast visualization.jan_suhr wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 7:55 pm There are better ways today to solve things like this.

I wondered about using HTML in e-mail and adding an image there, but we can't use links to folders and other HTML structures in e-mails.
Re: Attach multiple files, but not as zip-file
If it is internal it would be easier to create a text/html file with links to the files.

Is there anything new concerning this topic? I'm also interested in a solution for this task.
Thanks and regards Julia
