We're trying to check for and report on pages which are predominantly black or gray, using Select page by gray surface. We're getting very few legitimate results, and a huge number of false positives. This appears to be because it checks only by non-gray objects, and not by gray objects themselves. So for example, if we're checking for pages which have non-gray surfaces less than 50% of total page area, it will flag pages that have 15% non-gray coverage and 70% gray coverage (good), but also pages that have 15% non-gray coverage and 0% gray coverage (bad).
Is there a way to directly check for and report on pages which have X% coverage of black/gray, regardless of percent of non-gray coverage?
Thanks in advance,
Joe

Desktop 18 and Server 17. Ultimately it will run only in Server 17.

ahh ok, can you contact me offline at andrewb@enfocus.com
If you can share some test files we can either make it work, or improve the actions functionality.
There's also 'Select page by ink coverage (non black only) which was designed to find pages with a little bit of color.
