Hello all,
I have a multiple page pdf that I need to split out dynamically. I know you can split by x amount of pages per file, but the problem I'm having is these are invoices and they can be any number of pages. Has anyone ever accomplished this.
Thanks,
Anthony

Re: Split Multiple Page PDF
Hi Anthony
If you could describe the logic for the split please.
If there are
5 pages you want out
10 pages you want out
18 pages you want out
etc
Thanks Malcolm

Re: Split Multiple Page PDF
I have used this program:
http://www.a-pdf.com/content-splitter/index.htm
It can split files based on content and when it changes.
It can work manually, with hot folders and with the command line.
And it is only $79.
In my use case it has been manually for one time task.
But also incorporated it into flow with the command line.
In the program you make the rule for the splitting and can the use the rule file in the command line.

I'd like to suggest VeryPDF splitter (verypdf.com). It is very similar to a-splitter, but the price is lower. I was using it very often when I was working as an essay helper in university.

Why not use the "Split PDF" configurator of Switch?

Re: Split Multiple Page PDF
Because in some cases you need to split a file, where it differs in the same file on which page count you want to split.
Like a pdf containing many invoices.
One invoice is 1 page, another 2 and maybe 3 pages.
But the first page always have a invoice-number.
So with some of the programs you can define it to look for text a certain place and split on this.
So you end up with a pdf for each invoice with variable page count.

Re: Split Multiple Page PDF
Personally, I would use "Spilt pdf" configurator in this case. I had a similar task when I was dealing with invoices for this article about sites of essay writing services from Business Review, and it worked smooth.

The Split PDF pages app written by Freddy solves this.

I use Adobe Acrobat. Choose “Organize Pages” > “Split.” Choose how you want to split a single file or multiple files. Name and save: Click “Output Options” to decide where to save, what to name, and how to split your file. Split your PDF: Click “OK” and then “Split” to finish.
