Connect ALL Login Credentials

Trying to setup a Switch delivery Connector for internal use (inside the firewall, delivering to full version of Switch), I want to prompt the user for just a user name. Since I can't do just that, I have to choose the option to prompt for user name and pw. BUT. If I do that, I am not allowed to specify which Submit Point this connector will use (because user credentials are necessary to check in with Switch as to which users are allowed to see which submit points - when creating the Connector.) And if I enter a valid user/pw in Connect (so I can choose the submit point), yet still have it ask for user name and password, the user name Switch uses is the one that was hard-coded, not the one that was entered. Bottom line; I'm okay hard-coding a user for this purpose, but I still want to dynamically pass a user-entered user name and I want Switch to use _that_ user name internally.
