Hello
I am wondering if there is way to outline ONLY TrueType (including compsite True Type) Fonts.
I would like to avoid outline ALL fonts in PDF, since we specifically use PitStop Server to preflight PDF in PDFX1a:2001 compliance with fonts restriction of True Type Fonts.

You just use "Select font by type" before "Convert text to outline"

Thank you for your quick reply.
I am a newbee on Pit Stop and trying to make a single pitstop profile (with/without action list) to associate to a Hot Holder in PitStop Server which converts TrueType Fonts (includes T1 composite TrueType) into outline as an Automatic Fixing Problem.

On Hot folder base I can add Action like 'Convert Compsite fonts to outline' from standard action list, but no as type you mentioned.
On pitstop profile base in 'Fonts' section of menu I don't see any possible automatic fixing on TrueType font section...

How can you configure "Select font by type" before "Convert text to outline" in which section ?

I guess the easier thing would be to use an action rather than a profile.

In PitStop Server (assuming you are on version 13) go to Window->Action Lists...
Create a new Action List. First you select "Select Fonts by type" and in the dropdown select TrueType.
Then add "Convert text to outline". This way only the selection is converted.

The action will look something like:

Select All
Select TrueType Fonts
Convert text to outline

It worked perfectly.

Now I encounter some PDFs which has permission issue on some Fonts to be converted into outlines.
Is there any workaround on this matter ? (Font ModernH-Bold embedded subset could not be converted to outlines: the font permission do not allow this)

In some action on Text category I see action called 'Select by license' which has four specific permission listed.
I make an action list like… but it doesn’t make any differences.

Select All
Select by Type (as you mentioned, by TrueType)
Select Fonts by license (Outline attribute is chosen)
Convert into Outline

Any idea would be totally appreciated.
