We are running the HP Indigo EPM Preflight Solution in Switch. I have a step in there for PitStop Server to convert all colors to CMYK. If we put a file through the flow that has PANTONE 186 and black spec'd, it converts the spot color to 4CP. But is also converts the black-only elements to a 4-color black.
Any ideas?

I believe this has to do with the color management settings when converting from the Gray Color space to the CMYK color space. But there is a trick for it:

- Open the "Convert to Color Space" Global Change in PitStop Pro
- Set it up to convert to Device CMYK
- Enable the "Force gray to keep the same intensity" checkmark
- Save the Global Change
- Right click the Global Change and choose "Save as Action List"
- Save the action list and use it in PitStop Server in Switch
