Control Over Direction of Page Orientation Change

We're preflighting some customer-provided PDFs on our PitStop Server (ver.17) which contain the occasional run of Landscape pages.
Preflight -> Page -> Different page orientations -> Change orientations of all pages to: "portrait"
appears to be exactly what we're looking for, except that there seems to be no control over the direction of rotation.
A counter-clockwise rotation (of the stray Landscape pages, to make them Portrait) looks to be the default behaviour.
This is, arguably, OK...
causing a "binding-on-top" situation when reading the once-landscape pages.
Unfortunately (and you knew there would be an "unfortunately"), due to bindery issues and margin-padding, these pages would be better presented in a clockwise-rotated situation, providing for more gutter margin (from what had been the bottom of the Landscape page).
Having exhausted my resources, I was curious if my more-learned collogues might have thoughts on our situation?
Thanks very much for reading.
