White converts to 1% black

Hello there,
I'm using Pitstop (server) to check and improve ads for newspaper print. Most ads are delivered by clients and need to be checked if they are CMYK and if the ink limits are correct. Therefore I'm using the IsoNewspaper26v4 icc profile wit TAC reduction to a maximum of 240%. The devicelink profile will only be used when the ink coverage is too high.
When I upload a file with a .eps or TIFF with a white background Pitstop returns the file with a 1% black profile color. How can I change my setting so the white background stays white?
