Hello,
Is it possible to use private data variable inside a metadata variable?
download/file.php?mode=view&id=239

Unfortunately nested variables only work within calculation and database variables to my knowledge. Feel free to let Enfocus know that you want this, the more people ask, the higher priority it should get
The only option at the moment to get around this is scripting.

I agree but it doesn't have to be a complete script.
A script-expression should be enough...
