switch 18 performance module force all slots

We have switch 18 update 1 running with the perfomance module and we use 10 slots (concurrent processing tasks), and a timeout of 20min. This works fine but daily some operations like pitstop server or alwan colorhub have a heavy job I notice switch will not fill the remaining slots until this heavy job (with all the same priority) has been proccessed, failed or timed-out. This results in large waiting times for the switch users. Is it possible to force switch to always fill the slots when there are items to proccess?

Is what Daniel is asking not possible? It would boost the efficiency a lot imo.

How many slots are not used and how do you check this? Via the progress pane?
