Hi

I would like to know, if there is a way to crop line art but retain it as a Stroke. I know the action changes it to a Fill, but the CAD people have requested to leave it as a stroke (Cutter Guide)

Basically our workflow Produces Black only PDFs of the Cutter Guide but leaves in All the background data, I have built an action to remove this background data, but I would also like to crop line art and retain as stroke first, then remove background data, to avoid introducing other issues.

We, also, have a need for the 'Crop Line Art' action to retain a stroke as a stroke. I had an idea about cropping dielines that cut to shape across multiple pages. We need the dielines to overlap by .5" so I was thinking that I could select the dieline and crop it to bleed then close the path and boom...I have my cropped dieline with overlap.

Perhaps add an option to preserve strokes?
