PitStop Server Actions?

Hi all,

Just started at a wide format digital printer and one of their biggest bottle necks in DTP is accurately applying cutting marks and dots for their Zund G3 3XL-1600.

Is it possible to automate this process by creating profiles to pre-flight and apply actions within PitStop depending on the material used?

Hi,

depending on the exact details, this might be perfectly possible using variables in PitStop Server. Especially the combination of Switch and PitStop Server is extremely powerful to gather information on a job and based on that job use different Action Lists and/or Preflight Profile.

On top of that it is also possible to use a lot of this information inside an Action List to make them dynamically and customized for that particular job.

For example, if the data specifying where to place the cutting marks is provided, the Action List can take those values and use them to place the cutting marks on exactly the coordinates provided.

Kind regards,

Carine
