Batch Acrobat Size Reduction

Hello,

Can someone tell me if PitStop (or any of the other products) can:

1) Mimic the Adobe - Reduce File Size process. Which as far as I know does very little to the content of the file in terms of quality other than remove Acrobat backwards compatibility.
2) Allows this process to be fed in large batches and/or programmatically.

I have millions of PDFs that I have proven will shrink file sizes by 40%+ just by using the Adobe Reduce Size tool. I just can’t find a tool that can handle this process in bulk.

Thanks for any info.

FYI. I am new to this software suite and am just scoping solutions. I read some manuals and did some forum searches before posting this to no avail. I am also taking a best guess at the right category to post this in. So apologies if I missed something or picked the wrong category.

You can certainly reduce the size like Acrobat, but there are many ways to do it depending on the way the PDFs' are constructed.
What you want to use them for also plays a part.

If you contact me off-forum with some sample files. I can make a configuration for you to test.
