I have setup a new Mac and gotten the latest version of Switch.
We have Switch version 12 on an old Mac
I have the update to version 18 for the new machine

What is the best way to get all the flows and settings to the new machine?
Best practices or suggestions?

It was all set up by someone else and the folders are a bit of a mess.
I an learning Switch from scratch here.


My current strategy is to load the exported flows one at a time and go through each step. Making a NEW folder where needed and relinking to that folder.

I am making all the folders in the Documents folders, subdivided into major customers

Ex:
ARAXIMO
- INPUT
--- Drop PDFs
- OUTPUT
--- Finished PDFs

COLONIAL
- INPUT
--- Preflight and fix
--- Preflight and Hold
- OUTPUT
--- Preflight Complete
--- On Hold

I think that is certainly good approach if you want to learn how it all works.
Keep in mind it might not be just settings or folder, there could be additional app or even installation of Node.js or Python that was used.
