Hello all,
I receive file from customer in pdf, but customer convert pdf file using Photoshop. I try to convert with clean up black or all 100 CMYK to 100K, all black to real black, all gray to real gray is not working. I try using preflight in enfocus preflight CMYK V3.0 then use action list > All Gray to Real Gray is working. but cannot use overprint mode and cant change object color with 85K to100K.
fyi, i receive pdf file with 124 pages so i cant manual change in ilustrator with release mask
Any Idea for solve this problem ?
Thankyou

So if it's from Photoshop is it an image?
If so you need to use the color curves to adjust the color.
If you can post the file it would diagnose the solution.

I had such a case. Nothing helped. As I understand it, this is a colored object under the mask. Try release mask and you'll see.ivanmeismail wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2019 11:26 am but cannot use overprint mode and cant change object color with 85K to100K.

You can try doing it this way:
* duplicate the image
* from the duplicate image clip away anything that should stay colour, keeping only what should become pure black
* from the original image clip away anything that should become black
* optional: use the crop image action to cut off the clipped parts of the image
So now you have two (or more) separate images for colour and for black & white.
* turn off colour management and convert the image(s) that need to be K only to grey; leave the colour images untouched

Re: Convert Dark Object or Text to K100%
Partially solved the issue using the action list:
Select object that have clipping path
Apply CMYK curve (C=0/M=0/Y=0/K=100)

Hello Ivan
The file you uploaded is a single image spread.
The rasterized text in it shows as 100K no CMY.
If you need to reduce TAC and CMYK for the dark areas I think you would
need to look an ICC Device Link as selecting parts of images can be dangerous.
