Cleanup Background

Can Pitstop pro help clean up the background of a scanned pdf? A client sent me a pdf file that is scanned with a dull background light gray on all the pages.
Appreciate and help!

It's not really a photo editing tool, best you could do is probably play with contrast.

If it's a black and white scan you could also try using the color curve function to remove anything below say 5% and making it white, that's worked for me in the past
