Using Document Info to Scale

I want to develop a Flow that will scale all files processed to 10 percent of final size output. Our RIP will be setup to process all files with a scaling coefficient of 10.00 (1000 percent) so ALL files submitted to our RIP hotfolders from Switch need to be at 10 percent of final size. Any insight into HOW to do this?

You'll need Switch variables for this and a calculation to get the %
and you'll use the resulting value to drive a PitStop variable to make the reduction.

I assume you'll use the PDF Trim Box as the final output size.

You get that from Switch, Define Text with Variables > Stats > Trim Box Height and Trim Box Width and you'll need a calculation.
I'm by no means the Switch expert so maybe someone else can chip in with that part.

Then in PitStop Server you'll need to make an Action List with the 'Scale to fit Page Size' Action (see below)
and using a variable you drive it with the values for the required.
That will then resize the page and page boxes to the required values and the content as well.

Hope that helps.

I have PitStop Pro. Does that make a difference?

In a way.
Forget everything I said before. :D

Make an Action List like this.
Will do what you want, only decision is if you use the Trim Box or the Media Box.
You just have to do it manually instead of automatically in Switch.
