Hi all.
I have a series of banners to produce where the customer would like the name of the file printed on the left & right sides of the banner.
I am currently using %Current Document Name% which works fine but I would like the extension removed.
So "My Customer Name.pdf" becomes "My Customer Name"
Is there another variable I can use to get me this result?
I am currently removing the .pdf extension in windows file explorer, which works but is tedious.
There may be better options that I am not aware of.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Remove file name extension in Pitstop Pro.
You could use the "Find and Replace text" action.
So like in the screenshot, place the "Select last added objects" after you have added the filename.
Then Replace ".pdf"' with "".
