For some imposition task, I need a Calculated variable, that would be sth like:

variable1 (type: length) = input by user upon action run
variable2 = %Page Box Dimensions% * variable1

But calculated variable seems not to understand %Page Box Dimensions%

It would be splendid to be able to use for calculations: (just some ideas of mine)
%Trim Box Width% %Trim Box Height% %Selection Width% %Selection Height%

Just to clarify.
Are you wanting to be able to make a selection using an Action, then base calculationed variables on the properties of that selection?

Yes, that would be great - I'm right there with you. I had also suggested this before for a similar requirement:

Maybe Enfocus can classify this as a feature request.
