Pantone mapping
Hi, I would like to setup an Action List that does the following :
Map alternate color space to PANTONE+ Lab values (But always keep paper suffix from incoming Pantone name - and map accordingly)

Re: Pantone mapping
You'll need to select spot by suffix and remap to the desired Pantone library.
Repeat for each suffix needed

Re: Pantone mapping
Thanks Malcolm, I didn't realize that I could select by color suffix. Great!

Re: Pantone mapping
Hi again, unfortunatly the select by spot color suffix does not work for me. I'm guessing since the Action 'Remap all PANTONE library colors' applies to all PANTONE colors in the document regardless of the previous select.

Hi Magnus
Ah, can you try using the change
Remap PANTONE library colors as per the grab.
This work here.

Re: Pantone mapping
I have also given it a go.
My action list first selects PANTONE C and remaps. Then PANTONE U and remaps.

Re: Pantone mapping
I'm late to this conversation, but in the past, I just renamed the Pantone colors since the name itself didn't matter until it got to the RIP. In this action list, every Pantone U gets changed to a C.
