Hi, last week I lost the switch config files because of hackes... so I need configurate the smtp for send emails but I had some problems.
My host for email is the gmail.com (google workspace)

Current Configuration:

smtp server: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP port: 465
SMTP requires autentication: Yes
User name: sistema.futura@futuraexpress.com.br
password: ******
Use password configuration: Yes

Encrypt conection: Yes
Sender Name: Futura Express
Sender email address: sitema.futura@futuraexpress.com.br

When I do "Test Connection" the result is "ok". but when the flow try send an email, an error occurs and does not send.
LOG ERROR:
SMTP protocol error. 530 5.7.0 https://support.google.com/mail/?p=WantAuthError s126-20020a1ff484000000b00375ecb78541sm9549011vkh.12 - gsmtp.

I don't know if I configured it correctly. May some one help me?

I had a similar problem setting up a Gmail account in Switch.
My solution was to create an App password in my Google Account and use this password!

So log in to your Google Account go to Security then to Logging in to Google and then choose App passwords.

can someone recommend another email or gmail settings

If you have a mail send element, then you can use this app:
https://www.enfocus.com/en/appstore/product/mail-auth20

However, that won't work for Switch alert mails.In that case you can use a service like https://www.mailjet.com/. You can link your email address to mailjet and then use the mailjet smtp server to impersonate your gmail address. Mails sent this way do have a higher chance to end up in spam. If it is only for alert mails that you only need the mailjet free tier.

We use microsoft exchange and for send Mail with OAuth 2.0, everything works, but for Receive emails using OAuth 2.0 authentication does not work, i try with https://www.mailjet.com/

Mailjet will only allow you to send mails. (I assumed you only needed sending since you talked about SMTP which is only sending)

If the oauth app doesn't work for receiving mails with gmail, then I would suggest to contact Enfocus support to have it investigated.
