Select pages that are "optical" landscape

Post by thorsten »

Hi there,
is it possible to find out/select pages that are wider than high but page rotation is 0°?
I have some pdfs that contain pages in different sizes. All pages are at 0° rotation but some look like landscape because the width is greater than the height.

Thorsten

Have you tried using 'Normalize page rotate key' first? Maybe you could post a link to an example PDF?

Hi,

What about the "Check page orientation"?

Hello,

thank you for your replies. (I have to check why I didn't get notified)

Yes, I tried to "Normalize page rotate key" first.
"Check page orientation" only checks for the rotation value which is 0° for all pages in those documents.

Hi there,

Thanks go to loicaigon who found out that the "Select by page orientation" command does the trick.
I don't know why this didn't work in the first place. Maybe I discarded the command because it did not find the rotated pages.
So I use a combination now. First rotate all pages to 0° and then check for landscape pages.
