removing clipping masks

hello, i have a problem with a file that i have. its a file containing lots of images that are masked. i need to remove a mask OUTSIDE of the crop box but retain the masks WITHIN the crop box. can this be done? the file is about 200 pages. i was thinking maybe select all out side masks and delete but there seems to be no action for that. thanks in advance for any and all help.

Have you tried "Select objects outside region" with "Select objects" set to "outside region" and "Select clipping paths" checked?

thank you for the help. i dont seem to be able to find the "Select objects outside region" in the actions list.
