We have also problems with Griffin auto today, I don't know if it's related to yours. I have contacted my supplier and submitted an Enfocus support case.

It seems the issue was related to licensing.
I was starting Griffin Auto from command line to see the error.
I did message you on Instagram directly to ask you
If you like we could share email incase something like this occurs in the future?

I got a response from Enfocus/Esko that the issue is fixed now. It's working on our end again.
I'll take a look on Instagram

Same problem yesterday and Enfocus indeed solved the problem! Doesn't change the fact that I Griffin still only works with a VPN connection with us!

I'm not sure why need to use VPN? But yeah, it's a strange licensing model. IMHO on premise software should function even if there is a lost of internet connection for a day. That could happen for many reasons.

Not sure what our problem is, but Griffin only works with a VPN connection for us. Most likely it is something internal, but we have already tried everything, even switching firewalls! Maybe I will create a separate topic for our problem, maybe Enfocus will realize the seriousness of our problem a little more after the takeover of Griffin!

We had also the license issue, for the third time.
This is annoying. Griffin has a license key with subscription.
There should be a fallback option so that Griffin continues to function for at least 48 hours.

We have not noticed any issues with the Griffin license lately.

Hello !
I tried using Griffin Auto with Switch today but it's not working. I get the following message in the Switch Log:
Process failure due to unexpected internal error. If problem persists please contact support to resolve.
Could not connect to bundled application
Could not start service during GET
App initialization failed
Still initializing Griffin app, please make sure internet is accessible
When I tried via cmd line:
WARNING: An illegal reflective access operation has occurred
WARNING: Illegal reflective access by org.codehaus.groovy.reflection.CachedClass$3$1 (file:/C:/Program%20Files/Tilia%20Labs/Griffin%20Auto/groovy-all-1.8.5.jar) to method java.lang.Object.finalize()

Any Suggestions ?

For Griffin problems I always look at the rolling.log:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Enfocus\Switch Server\ScriptData\com.tilia.griffin.app\log
Maybe there is more information about your error. Enfocus support can also reset the license.
