cliping mask

Post by Urraco »

Hi,
is there any solution to do this action?

1. select spot color Varnish
2. assign spot color Varnish to layer abc
3. add a rectangle to layer abc but smaller than trimbox whit 1mm width and 1mm height
4. make clipping mask only the layer abc

Thank you

Hi,

You can try this but would you mind explaining why do you need those steps? Especially the clipping part? Is it because you get Varnish out of the trim that you want to "remove"?

Let me know,

Thank you very much for the action!

I do this because when cutting the paper, if varnish exceeds the cutting edge and is too thick, it cracks, peels off...
that's why I have to clip the varnish separation smaller than the trimbox, to avoid this problem
