Update Regex Engine

Are there any plans for updating the Regex Engine on Switch?
There are some features that would be very useful for file filtering, like Positive and Negative lookbehind.
My company uses Regex for identifying all of our files, but sometimes it's difficult to get into specific file naming with the tools we have available today.
I'm currently reading the book you guys recommend on the Switch manual, in hopes that it would give me some insight on certain situations.
