Illustrator Error: "The server threw an exception."

Hello everybody,
I have an unexplained error with the Illustrator flow element.
We occasionally get the error message "The server threw an exception" in the switch messages. Subsequently, no more jobs are processed by the flow element, all have the same error message.
After a restart of the switch server, all jobs are then processed correctly.

The flow element does nothing other than save the incoming AI files as a PDF.

Is there any way I can find out more information as to what exactly the error is? What does it mean?
Has anyone had an error like this before?

Illustrator: CC 2023, V27.9.5
Illustrator Flow Element: V17
Switch: 2024 Spring Build 1550516 (64bit)

Thank you for your support!

I got the same error now. Did you find any solution to solve this error?

Hi Fidel,
unfortunately, we could not find a cause.
As the error only occurred very sporadically and was not reproducible, we processed the files manually and left it at that.

Sorry.

Best regards, Peter

awww so there is no solution for this problem? Because I just had the same situation here :( I try to check the incoming AI files for corruption and opening them directly in Illustrator to identify any issues but that wasn't working at all.
