RE: Smart preflight, taking data from xml (configuration variables)

Number of pages is %Comparator% %ReferenceNumberOfPages%

is there a reference guide that lists the %variables% ?

EG I am looking to have "Number of pages is %Comparator% %ReferenceNumberOfPages%" have the number of missing/additional pages listed as part of the error message (ie: Number of pages is not equal to 4, please add 1 page)

It seems that your request went unnoticed so apologies for late answer. I will still answer it as this is a recurring request.
We don't provide such a list as it wouldn't help you much. Those variables as such are not much talkative and translated when called. They are also not universal in the sense that trying to use them outside of the context they have been designed for would result in an error in many cases.

While I understand the quest for clarity having a full list, I think that the safest usage is how they can be displayed today.
