Hi,


Is it possible to make the text written on the curve not appear as letters with the pitstop (Catch from text action) action? From this, I want to create an XML file and read the text. (For instance Text: 123456789 test text instead of Text: 1 Text: 2 etc )

I have attached print screens for a better understanding.

In the PDF format text is placed starting from an XY position with a certain graphic state (color, size, font, leading, rotation, scaling, ...) in a straight line. The text could be rotated 23.74% or stretched 10.42%, but such transformations are valid for the complete line. Note another implication of this: a change of color, font, font size, etc. means that a new text line has to be defined.

As a consequence, placing text on a curve in a PDF file is only possible by generating a text line for every character. As a result you only get single characters in the PitStop report.
