I am trialing an app from the Appstore called Redirect which uses webhooks which I have no previous experience with. The creator supplied a demo node.js app which does exactly what I am trying to achieve. I would like to know if its safe to use Switches installed version of node.js which is installed within the Switch installation directory structure or would this cause problems for Switch and I would need to install a seperate version from the node.js website.

The app itself doesn't need anything to run. Just install it and nothing else is needed.
ReDirect needs at least Switch version 2021 fall so you have that or anything later it should just work

I know the app doesn't require anything to run but the creator has supplied a sample Node.js server app which in order to run it says in the documentation that I need to run it with node.exe. Switch has node.js installed as part of its installation and within its own directory structure which is the only version of node.js installed on the server. I was wanting to know if I can run the node.js app with Switches version of node.js within causing any issue within Switch itself or if I am better downloading and installing an independent version of node.js on the server as well.
