Re: Order of preflight and actions in pitstop server?
It is possible to record a Preflight Profile as an Action List. This way you can add the preflighting steps anywhere in a larger Action List.

Re: Editing Form XObjects
Does 22 already have the "Add bleed" action? If so, maybe it will already work for your use case. I know it had a feature to extend rectangular objects for a while, but I'm not 100% sure it'll work on this form.

Re: Editing Form XObjects
I have no problem resizing the form by dragging the handle, as shown in this screenshot: https://i.ibb.co/sR2s3wj/Screenshot-2024-05-07-141244.png Don't press any buttons while dragging (except the left mouse button of course). Note that while dragging the mouse cursor incorrectly shows the "mo...

Re: Editing Form XObjects
To edit a form without changing its content, you need to explicitly use the "Edit Forms" tool. If you use the normal select tool and the object handles, it will indeed resize the form content too. But in the "PitStop Edit" group you should find a "Edit Form" tool that c...

Re: TAC Issues with Black Tones
You could try converting these images to DeviceGray. There is a rule in the PDF spec that DeviceGray should be mapped directly to (only) the K channel under normal circumstances (there are exceptions of course). This is a relatively new rule though, so not everything follows it - but it's worth a tr...

Let's first train an AI to detect these bots. I think you should have time this weekend, unless you'll be playing that wordle game?

Re: Remap (User Swatch) Fills & Strokes with ICC Profiles in PitStop Server
Very odd. I think this should work, but I must be missing something. Apparently the "Remap color" action thinks the colour in the PDF doesn't match the one in the Action List. This could be a rounding in the colour values, or a difference in the ICC profile. Rounding is less likely, so I'd...

Re: Remap (User Swatch) Fills & Strokes with ICC Profiles in PitStop Server
Does PitStop Server not have the same access as PitStop Pro to the actions? It should. I can't really think of a reason why it wouldn't work in PitStop Server - however, my first thought is always: is your colour management the same in Pro and Server? And are you testing it on the same file(s)? The...

Re: Execute Command
In the execute command app, what setting do you have for the "Output" property? According to the app documentation, this should be "Folder at path" if you want to output a new folder. However it also looks like you're making a single file inside that folder, so perhaps "File...

Re: Detecting text behind images
There is an action "Select overlapping objects". This works with bounding boxes, so it's not very precise, but for the example you posted I think it will work. "Select concealed objects" on the other hand is very precise, but I think that will only select objects if they are _com...

Re: Removing Indexed Color Space
PitStop has an action "Convert indexed color space to base color space". This will convert Indexed over CMYK to CMYK for example, which sounds like exactly what you want.

Re: invalid ICC profile
You may have an invalid ICC profile in your colour management settings. Try changing the colour management preset to one of the predefined ones. If you don't know what to pick, "Sync with Acrobat" is usually a safe choice.

Re: Text With Variables Disappear in Action List
This looks like a bug: that field appears to only accept _text_ variables, while it should accept _number_ variables. Please report this to Enfocus support.
As a workaround, you can change your variable to type "text" for now.

Re: Controlling how far an object is nudged in Pitstop
Nudging with the arrow keys is based on pixels, and therefore depends on your current zoom level. There is no setting to change the distance. You can however hold the shift key to nudge with bigger steps. But that doesn't really help you I fear. I think currently the closest to what you want is to u...
