Re: Enfocus PDF Review

I second that. I believe this was my request during Beta test, have comments written to metadata so we can extract and do whatever we want with them. Right now it is manual operation to go into PDF and manually extract comments. There is proposed solution with Javascript in Acrobat to extract but it...

Re: Spot color All has different alternate color values

Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but Geomapper have nothing to do with it as far as I am aware. Unfortunately I have only 2017 version but from what I remember, in Preflight profile for images, I have had it set to restrict to Trim box only, and this was before 2017 version. I might be getting sen...

Re: Spot color All has different alternate color values

I don't have solution for you, however I have slightly different approach.
Your color "All" is only in crop marks.
Why bother checking for them, you can restrict your check to within Trim box only?

Just a thought.

Re: Metadata dropdown list in Switch Client: problem with "remember last value"

Maybe add a line "None" instead of empty and make sure when selected, it does not route??

How to extract annotations from PDF?

Does anyone have a working method to extract annotations from PDF as txt or xml file? I see there is a lot of programming libraries that can be used to do this, like Itextsharp, but I need simple script or CLI tool to do this. I believe Enfocus should offer this as native capability, especially sinc...

Re: switch-inject-lite

Gabriel, I am using Assert exist to check if file exist or not. If file exist, everything is ok, however if the file does not exist, it fails and goes into "Problem Job" folder. I have Error out connection to go to email, but it does not. I can make workaround and take it from Problem job folder, ho...

Re: Any idea on how to create...?

I am not good with scripting and I don't have database module.
That leaves me with metadata.
I'll play around, thanks

Re: Hold Job until Date

Yes, it is basic configurator "Hold job".
Last Monthly Switch workshop covered exactly variety of ways you can use hold, not sure if it's posted online yet.

Any idea on how to create...?

Does anyone have an idea on how to create flow when file is passing through, it picks up number from list (csv, xml, etc..) than it gets renamed by appending that number. Perhaps it might be simple thing I am overlooking. I want to have list that csr can manually update, e.g. in csv or xml file. Lis...

Re: PITSTOP PRO 17 FREEZING

I've had issue where Acrobat would crash, not freeze but removing Enfocus preferences fixed it.
Perhaps you can try removing Enfocus preferences, if that does not help, maybe trash Acrobat preferences as well.

Re: Read PDF contents to rename file

Easy: Use Acrobat configurator out of the box, set output to be txt file. Less easy but better (IMHO): In my experience Acrobat works but was not the most stable, often crashing and not responding when processing many files. Therefore wherever I used Acrobat, I replaced it with XPDF or PDFTk, depend...
