Re: Page Scaling Factor

If I run the action list the pdf will look like it does above, but if I save, close and then open the pdf again it is correct.

Dunno why I didn't try that earlier...

Page Scaling Factor

I have received a couple of pdf files for print from a customer, however the customer has applied a Page Scaling Factor of 10 to the pages, so when I look at the page size it says 23282x28032 mm instead of 2328x2803 mm. If I try to change the Page Scaling Factor to 1 the page size is correct, but th...

Re: A way to convert line fill to 1 line

If you have PitStop 2020 or later you could use the Trace Objects (found under Line Art Editing) to create a new path. The new path will trace along the outside of the line fill, so the difference in size shouldn't be that big. Check Ingore white holes to only get a single path. Make a copy of the o...

Save as Optimised PDF from Adobe Acrobat Professional configurator

Does anyone know if it is possible to save a pdf file as an optimised pdf using the Adobe Acrobat Professional configurator? I can't find any options for it, so I assume you would have to use a script to do it if it's possible, but how would you write the script to save the file as an optimised pdf ...

Add a node to an xml-file

I need to create a flow which among other things adds a node to an existing xml file. The xml file starts like this and I need to add a node for the cover (<pdf_filename_cover>) below the <pdf_filename> node. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <order> <pdf_filename>05469417_1507_20210127_28...

Re: PitStop disappearing from Acrobat DC

I had a colleague who "lost" his PitStop tools after an update (Mac OS). If he used the shortcut in the dock to start his Adobe Acrobat all PitStop tools were gone, but after I went to the Programs folder on his Mac and started Adobe Acrobat from inside it's folder all of the tools magically reappea...

Re: Flow not showing same information when activated

Yes, there are twenty folders that are excluded, but none of them have been changed recently. Yes, keep originals on server is also active as all this flow does is to inform the csr that a file has been uploaded to their account, the name of the file and if it's a pdf it also tells them how many pag...

Flow not showing same information when activated

I have a flow which basically moitor our ftp-server and send an e-mail to the csr when a customer uploads a file. When the flow isn't activated it shows that there are 152 folders on the server, but once I activate the flow it says that there are only 5 folders on the server an hence it does not sen...

Re: Random Spot Colors - Convert to CMYK

Thanks for the information Ben! I noticed that I have accidentally created an Pantone Color with Lab as Alternate color space, that's why it worked as intended.. It's been a while since I did that flow and it was only for testing purposes. This works as intended: Skärmavbild 2021-02-03 kl. 14...

Thanks for the update Fabrizio.

That's good to know. I'll try to see if we can get that version as well.

Regards.

Re: Random Spot Colors - Convert to CMYK

I did a flow in Switch that does a similar task.
This is the action list I use.

Perhaps it can help you as well?

Re: HP SmartStream Designer Imposition (version 120)

No problem.
I'm currently in the process of updating our developer server to 2020 Fall, so once I have everything up and running and I have made a backup of the system I can install InDesign 2020 and HP SmartStream Designer 15 and see if I can figure out what might be causing the problem.

Re: HP SmartStream Designer Imposition (version 120)

Hi Fabrizio. We are using InDesign 2019 and HP SmartStream Designer 14.0.6 in our flows, so unfortunately I can't help you. Unfortunately there's a problem with nordic characters in the file paths that prevent us from using InDesign 2020 and HP SmartStream Designer 15. The people in our prepress tha...
