I am migrating to a new server. I have exported my flows from the old server and imported to the new.
Is there a way to test the flow without activating it? I do not want to disrupt the group using the flow.
I am running Spring 2024 version.
Flow testing without activating
Re: Flow testing without activating
For my customers I ask Enfocus for a 30 trial license to run the second server when migrating like you are doing.
It also requires that you have a valid maintenance contract.
Talk with your Enfocus retailer.

Re: Flow testing without activating
Yes i have a trial license on the new server, however after importing the flows, i need to test them.
Since they point to control/test/reports directories that the group is using, I would like to test everything in the flows without using those directories.
I guess i can just change them to point someplace else. It seems like the only solution.
Thanks

Ahh, I ran into this also, unfortunately if you have a live server and then another you do dev or migrating to there is no real way other than duplicating the directories that I've found. When we migrated, I did specific flows one at a time, validated them on the new server by either setting the incoming folder as an auto-managed folder and dropping the file, or if it went from flow to flow and had to pass private-data I created dev version of those user-managed folders. Same with directory that had a file I would inject. It's kind of a pain but we got it done.FrankT wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 5:27 pm Yes i have a trial license on the new server, however after importing the flows, i need to test them.

Thanks rdh_ole
That's what I thought I would have to do.
